The ACA (American Counseling Association) is the world's largest professional psychological counseling society, and is an authoritative event where counseling experts from around the world gather every year to share the latest research and counseling techniques. This year's conference also featured presentations and technology exhibitions in various counseling fields, and YATAV also actively communicated with participants through presentation sessions and booth operation.
YATAV announced the technological foundation and use cases that can induce emotional immersion and counseling effects in virtual spaces, centering around its metaverse psychological counseling platform, MetaForest. MetaForest is characterized by providing interactions similar to real counseling through facial expression recognition-based avatars.
The on-site booth provided an opportunity to experience the platform, and practical feedback and application discussions were held with local counselors. In particular, there was a lot of interest in the immersiveness and interactivity provided by facial expression recognition technology in the metaverse space, and some counselors actively explored the possibility of applying it to actual counseling programs.
